Project Achievements
Life Skills TrainingA total of 1095 (425 female) attended life skills training. Out of which 1057 (415 female) successfully completed the training (At least 80% attendance of the training).

In order to prepare the Master craftsmen (MC) to mentor and train the project interns, 341 Master Craftsmen skills have been enhanced; 234 in Nairobi and 107 in Mombasa. This is a requirement for MC to be eligible to take and mentor interns in the informal sector.
Part 1 Work Place ExperienceA total of 916 Interns were successfully placed at the work place.

Core Business Skills Training (CBST)A total of 883 Interns received the 3-5 weeks of the Core Business Skills Training in cycle 1 of the project. Interns in the informal sector received 3 weeks of training while those in the formal sector received 5 weeks of core business skills training. Interns in the Informal sector are currently undergoing 2 weeks of entrepreneurship skills training.
